Club Dedicates Little Library in Shadow of Old Library

As the original home of the Coral Gables Library, the Coral Gables Woman’s Club was honored to dedicate a “Little Library” in front of their clubhouse on Nov. 18, 2021.

Spearheaded by esteemed member Ana Lam, the project was funded by Mayor Vince Lago and dedicated to Janice Thomson, the late daughter of former Mayor Dorothy Thomson.

A past president of the club, Dorothy Thomson was on hand to show her appreciation for the Little Library. Along with a reading bench, it stands in front of the club’s south ballroom—which housed the city’s library for more than three decades.
